LPGA in Mexico

BY Bruce Young | LPGA Tour | 2011 Lorena Ochoa Invitational | Preview | 08 Nov 2011

After their four event swing through Asia the LPGA is back in North America for this week’s Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The tournament is into its fourth year, In Kyung Kim the defending champion following her three shot victory over Suzann Pettersen last year.

The 36 player field includes the world number one and almost unstoppable Yani Tseng. Tseng has won four of her last six starts and been runner-up in one of the other two so she is in stunning form although her record over this layout has not been good by her standards

Suzann Pettersen gets the chance to go one better than last year and Stacy Lewis might add to her already great season with a victory.

No Australians are in the limited field event.
