Fourball pairings announced

Even before the morning foursomes had been completed on day three of the Presidents Cup, Captains Greg Norman and Fred Couples were announcing their respective pairings for the afternoon fourball match ups.
The successful combination of Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson will take on Retief Goosen and Charl Schwartzel in the opening encounter at 11.50am.
Tiger Woods again combines with Dustin Johnson after their morning defeat of Adam Scott and K.J. Choi to tackle the two who sat out this morning, Y.E. Yang and K.T. Kim
Another who sat out this morning was Steve Stricker and he teams with Matt Kuchar to face Geoff Ogilvy and K.J. Choi.
Hunter Mahan and Bill Haas will take on the long standing combination of Aaron Baddeley and Jason Day.
The final match out features Jim Furyk and Nick Watney against Adam Scott and Ernie Els. Els will be disappointed to lose his partner over the opening three rounds, Ishikawa, as it is clear the Japanese star is finding his feet.
The Americans to sit out this afternoon’s matches therefore are Phil Mickelson and David Toms while for the Internationals Robart Allenby and Ryo Ishikawa which is perhaps surprising given the fact that Ishikawa appears to be finding his feet.
