The Casio World Open has reached the halfway stage and four times Japan Tour event winner, Tadahiro Takayama, leads the lucrative event by one over Yusaku Miyazato
The 33 year old Takayama, whose last win came in the season opening Token Homemate Cup in April, was one of the few players to break 70 on a difficult second day at the Kuchi Kuroshio Country Club.
The leading and only Australasian to make the cut is New Zealander David Smail who is in 24th position at 1 over but ten shots from the lead.
