Nathan Holman continues to lead the Australian Masters of the Amateurs through 54 holes, the Victorian golfer adding a third round of 69 to open up a five shot lead at Royal Melbourne.

New Zealand’s Ben Campbell’s round of 65 over the West Course layout today moved him from his overnight 13th into a share of 2nd position with Queenslander Daniel Nisbet while US Amateur Champion, Kelley Kraft, and Tasmanian, Ryan McCarthy, share 4th position one shot further back and six behind Holman’s lead.

The best round of the day came from Oliver Goss from the Royal Fremantle Golf Club whose round of 64 moved him into a share of 6th position with Mathew Stieger.

One round remains to decide the winner of the event which continues to grow in stature in Australian amateur golf.
