Australia’s Karrie Webb was required to return to the Siam Country Club in Chonburi this morning to complete her second round at the Honda LPGA Thailand Championship but the early rise did not deter her.

Webb extended the two shot lead she enjoyed when was forced from the course by stormy weather yesterday to three at the completion of round two.

Webb is playing just her second event of the season after a slow start last week at the Australian Women’s Open but she has shown the swing changes she has been attempting to cement into her swing over the past few months are taking shape.

Webb leads over the ever present Na Yeon Choi and former World Number One Jiyai Shin with a further shot back to Suzann Pettersen, Amy Yang, Caroline Hedwall and Ai Miyazato.

Yani Tseng starts her third round five shots behind Webb after producing the equal best round of 65 on day two. Webb and Hedwall also recorded rounds of 65.
