Miyazato returns for ANZ Ladies Masters

Japanese superstar Ai Miyazato is set to return to contest her second ANZ Ladies Masters at the Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast between, February 2-5 2006.
Miyazato arrived at Royal Pines last February fresh from her maiden International win, the individual and team honours in the Women's World Cup. Hungry for back to back wins Miyazato posted a record equalling first round of nine under par 63 and followed up with rounds of 68 and 70 to enter the final day with a comfortable four shot lead.
Ai paired with five times Masters Champion Karrie Webb on the Sunday produced an epic shoot out which needed Webb to hole a two metre putt on the final hole to clinch her fifth title by a single shot.
Miyazato in 2005 has won four JLPGA Tour events in Japan, including the coveted Japan Women's Open Championship and seems set to gain her full playing privileges on the LPGA Tour for 2006.
The effervescent Miyazato will return to challenge a strong international line up and no doubt enjoy huge support from her fan base in Australia and millions will follow Miyazato's progress on television in Japan.
