Twelve Australians have Open starts

Twelve Australians currently have Open Championship starts for the third major of the year beginning on July 19th at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
With European International Final Qualifying taking place at Sunningdale later today, there is the opportunity for one or two more as at this stage, Marcus Fraser, Richard Green, Brett Rumford, Andrew Dodt and South Australian Brad Smith get one last chance at that venue.
The Australians currently eligible to tee it up at Royal Lytham & St Annes however are Robert Allenby, Aaron Baddeley, Greg Chalmers, Nick Cullen, Jason Day, Ashley Hall, Geoff Ogilvy, Adam Scott, John Senden, Aaron Townsend, Brendan Jones and Brad Kennedy, Jones and Kennedy earning their places in Japan yesterday.
