Kyoung-Hoon Lee wins in Japan

Kyoung-Hoon Lee became yet another first time winner on the Japan Golf Tour when he defeated his fellow Korean Hyung Sung Kim to win the Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup in Hokkaido.

Lee is in his rookie season on the Japan Golf Tour and with four top ten finishes in eight starts already this year he was destined to win before long. He actually finished runner-up at the Tsuruya Open in just his second start on the Japan Golf Tour in April.

Lee has moved to number two on the Japan Tour money list.

Steve Conran was the leading Australian in 26th position while Brad Kennedy was 32nd with New Zealander Richard Lee 52nd.

The Japan Golf Tour’s next event will not be until the week after the Open Championship when the Sun Chlorella event in played in Hokkaido.
