Welsh gofer Lydia Hall has won the ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club by one shot over the unlucky Beth Allen who triple bogeyed the 17th hole after leading by one with two holes to play.
For 24 year old Hall, who is now into her 5th year on the Ladies European Tour, it was her first LET victory and a significant turnaround on her form this year.
Rebecca Artis (nee Flood), was the best of the Australians when she produced her best finish of the season and her best ever LET result when sharing third position. Flood earned €19,000 for her effort.
Currently ranked 270 in the world, the result provides a great boost for the 23 year old from Coonabarabran and follows on from a recent 8th place finish at the Swiss Open.
Frances Bondad and Stacey Keating were next best of the Australians when they finished tied for 18th.
