Victorian Stacey Keating has defeated Germany’s Caroline Masson in a playoff at the Tenerife Open de Espana to win her first Ladies European Tour title and €52,500 in the process and moving to 9th position on the money list this season.
Keating holed a five footer for birdie at the first extra hole to defeat the lady who would become the leading player on the LET after her runner-up finish.
26 year old Keating, a former Australian Amateur Champion, is in her second season on the Ladies European Tour and has a previous best finish of 4th at the Scottish Open earlier this season.
Trish Johnson finished alone in third position while New South Wales’s Nikki Garrett was 4th.
