Pettersen goes back to back in Taipei

Suzann Pettersen made it two from two with victory at the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taipei today.
Seven days after her playoff victory over Catriona Matthew at the Hana Bank event near Seoul last week, Pettersen accounted for a class field winning by three over the very much in form Inbee Park, by four over local favourite Yani Tseng and by five over Matthew.
Pettersen started the final round two behind the game’s hottest current player right, Park, who has been inside the top three in her last six starts but by the end of the day Pettersen had caught and passed the Korean.
Pettersen has shown in the past that once she finds form she holds it. In 2007 she won five times on the LPGA Tour and after what had been a slow start to 2012 she has shown in recent weeks that the consistency is back.
Sarah Jane Smith was 38th despite a last round of 79, Lindsey Wright 50th and Katherine Hull 54th.
The LPGA Tour completes its Asian sing next week when it combines with the Japan Ladies Tour to play the Mizuno Open in Japan.
