The LPGA Tour is back from a month playing events in Asia and will this week play the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara in Mexico.
The tournament has been blessed by the appearance of four of the leading five players in the world ranking with Suzann Pettersen having played well here previously and in great form at present deserving favouritism just ahead of Stacy Lewis, Inbee Park, Yani Tseng and the defending champion Catriona Matthew.
The field is restricted to just 36 players for the US$1 million event.
Only one Australian, Katherine Hull, is in the field.
