Oh far too good at Lake Macquarie

Victorian golfer Su Hyun Oh has run out an emphatic winner of the Lake Macquarie Ladies Amateur Championship, winning the event by a massive 13 shots over Queenslander Ellen Davies-Graham and West Australian Hannah Green.

Oh led from her opening round of 70 and never looked back as she extended her lead each and every day.

Oh, the current Australian Girls Amateur Champion, now gets her chance at the Australian Women’s Amateur Championship in Melbourne next week where she will now start as one of the favourites behind Lydia Ko.

Oh’s final round of 71 was not the best of the day but it didn’t need to be as she was so far ahead no-one was able to put any pressure on her.

Davies-Graham produced the best final round (70) to move through the field and take a share of second with Green.
