Choi gains OneAsia card

Melbourne golfer Michael Choi has been added to the names of Steve Alker(New Zealand) and Rhein Gibson (Lismore) as Australasian graduates from the OneAsia qualifying schools which were completed yesterday in Sabah in Malaysia.

Alker and Gibson gained their cards via the the venue in California a week ago while Choi finished 11th at the Sutera Harbour Golf Club yesterday to gain one of the 14 cards available from that venue.

New Zealanders Nick Gillespie and Richard Lee missed out by an agonising one shot.

The successful graduates will join the OneAsia Tour which begins with an event co sanctioned between the Japan and OneAsia Tours in Thailand (the Thailand Open) on March 14th.
