Snedeker's great run continues

Brandt Snedeker has continued his amazing run of form of late with a two shot victory over Chris Kirk at the AT&T National Pebble Pro Am Championship.
Snedeker has now finished inside the first three in four of his five starts this season and with US$2.86 million has a huge US$1.7 million lead over Phil Mickelson on the 2013 money list.
Snedeker led from the halfway mark and although Kirk got within two at various stages through the final round the winner always appeared in control.
An eagle at his second hole today was the buffer Snedeker needed and although Kirk birdied four of his last eight holes the task was always beyond him.
Jimmy Walker, Kevin Stadler and last year’s rookie of the year James Hahn finished in a tie for third position while Jason Day appears to have regained his mojo with a second top ten in three starts this year with a 6th place finish.
Aaron Baddeley was the next best of the Australians after Day when he finished in a share of 12th.
The PGA Tour now moves to Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles for the Northern Trust Open.
