Meter Maids cause a stir on Ladies Day

It was a Tuesday, the day we asked the Gold Coast Meter Maids to come and play a celebrity hole with the Golf Getaway team at Lakeland’s on the Gold Coast. What we didn’t realise was that it was ladies day and the ladies had just finished their round and we’re enjoying a coffee and sandwich when the girls walked in.
Thankfully these were Gold Coast Ladies well versed in meter maid attire – the short tops and the even shorter bottoms. However the girls were oblivious to the stares and dropped jaws and we had to get them out of the club rooms as fast as we could. Very funny. We then loaded them into carts and headed to Lakeland’s signature hole and it must have been the distraction because in the end beating them wasn’t easy.
