Rose and Haas ahead in Orlando

Justin Rose and Bill Haas lead the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club in Orlando, the pair edging one shot clear of John Huh at the completion of 36 holes.

Both Rose and Haas have been in good form this season, Rose in particular, the current world number five, playing sparingly but very well whenever he has played in 2013.

Tiger Woods sits just four shots off the lead although his three consecutive bogeys to finish his round cost him a very good position heading into the weekend. On a golf course where he has won seven titles however he is still the player to watch.

Matt Jones heads the Australians in 17th position although he too would drop shots late in his round with bogeys at his final two holes.

John Senden is two shots further back while Jason Day and Robert Allenby are further back and the only other Australians to make the cut.

For Allenby it is the first cut he has made in eight starts on the PGA Tour in 2013.
