Australian PGA Championship back on schedule

The third round of the Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship has been completed and with two birdies in his last few holes Robert Allenby has joined overnight leader Nathan Green at thirteen under.
Allenby, who resumed his round at the par five 15th, actually birdied that hole and then followed up with another at the 16th to reach thirteen under. He took the lead alone at that stage with Green having dropped a shot on resumption at the par three 14th. Green then birdied the 17th to rejoin Allenby in the lead and that was the way things would remain when play was completed.
Conditions are perfect for what promises to be an exciting conclusion to this rain delayed event with the tournament now back on schedule.
Nick O'Hern, Steve Bowditch, Michael Campbell and Wade Ormsby are all at ten under while Michael Campbell produced the highlight of the morning when he recovered from two early bogeys to birdie the 17th, then eagle the 18th to be at nine under. As Campbell walked from the 18th green a spectator unknown to Campbell made the remark that his second to the 18th (which was holed) was the best shot she had seen and that she would immediately ring her husband. Michael suggested that he would be happy to speak to him. Unfortunately for the women and the husband all they got was the answering machine - a chance lost.
There will be many chances this afternoon however, some taken and some lost in what is shaping as yet another gripping "Tournament Sunday" here at the Hyatt Regency Coolum.
