Hend creeps closer to regaining PGA Tour status

A fourth round of 64 at the USPGA Tour school has Brisbane golfer Scott Hend well placed to retain his USPGA Tour playing rights.

Hend is in fifth place at fourteen under, two shots behind leaders Michael Allen and D.A. Points. Allen has led the tournament from his opening round of 64.

The next best of the Australians is Brendan Jones added a 69 today to be in 16th place at ten under.

Other Australasians are Grant Waite 24th, Andrew Buckle 32nd, Gavin Coles 68th, Steve Alker and Nick Flanagan 80th, Michael Long and Bradley Hughes 91st, Steve Allan and Steve Collins 119th, Tim Wilkinson 132nd, Kim Felton 142nd, Andrew Getson 154th and Euan Walters 159th.
