Strange leads Aussies at Japan PGA

23 year old Yoshinori Fujimoto leads the Japan PGA Championship Nissin Cupnoodles Cup in Chiba Prefecture, three consecutive birdies to finish giving him a two shot lead over Chinese golfer Ashun Wu and Satoshi Kaidara.

Included in the group two shots further back and tied for 4th position is the brilliant rookie, Hideki Matsuyama.

The leading Australian is Scott Strange who is playing without Japan Tour status. Strange is in 8th place at 2 under and six shots from Fujimoto.

Paul Sheehan, who is also without Japan Tour status at present, and Kurt Barnes are next best in a share of 12th place at 1 under.
