Michael Campbell returned for just one hole in his first round match against Nick Faldo at the Cisco World Match Play Championship today and won his delayed match at the seventh (43rd overall) extra hole.

Their match had been all tied up when they agreed to come back in the morning after darkness had stopped play. Campbell now plays one of the event’s seeds, defending champion Ian Woosnam.

Nick Faldo will now have a break and then return to play in the UBS Warburg Cup in November and then the EMC2 World Cup in Mexico.
