Web.Com Finals move to North Carolina

The second event of the four event final series of the Web.Com Tour is played this week in Davidson in North Carolina when the Chiquita Classic begins on Thursday.
Last week’s winner in Indiana, Trevor Immelman, is in the field again, looking to consolidate his return to the PGA Tour. Immelman tops the accumulative money list from these four events following his victory at the Hotel Fitness Championship.
Twenty five of the field are already assured of a place on the PGA Tour in 2014 but they continue to play for a priority ranking while another twenty five players will win the right to play the PGA Tour based on their success over the series.
While only Bronson La’Cassie amongst the Australians is assured of a playing the PGA Tour via the 2013 Web.Com Tour money list, Scott Gardiner leads the Australians in the final series following his 3rd place finish last week.
Adam Crawford and Alistair Presnell are tied for 11th, Nick O’Hern is 24th, Mathew Goggin is 30th, Cameron Percy 32nd, Bronson La’Cassie 46th, Rod Pampling 58th, Nick Flanagan 73rd with Ashley Hall and Aron Price 83rd.
Each of the Final Series is worth US$ 1million with US$180 to the winner so a lot of ground can be made quickly
