NZ's Martin leads Australian Senior

New Zealander, Murray Martin from the New Plymouth Golf Club (Ngamotu) has the lead as the field for the Australian Senior Amateur Championship at the Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane heads into tomorrow’s third and final round.
60 year old Martin finished his second round of 74 late in the day and has opened up a four shot lead over fellow New Zealander Frank Borren with New South Welshman Paul Maslen one shot further back.
New South Wales golfer Michael Lee is another shot further back again while there is a large group of eleven golfers another shot back including first round leader, Sal Ballard, from the Penrith Golf Club and former New Zealand professional and winning Olympic hockey gold medallist, Arthur Parkin.
