Dartnall and Jager advance in Europe

West Australians Stephen Dartnall and Matt Jager have advanced from Stage One of Qualifying for the 2013 European Tour and will compete at Stage Two in early November.
Dartnall, a former world number one amateur, is a former Web.Com Tour player and graduated at one of the ten venues used in Stage One with around twenty from each of the venues moving on to Stage Two at four venues in Spain.
Dartnall has played mainly on the domestic and OneAsia Tours of late but at his best he is a fine player, good enough to have finished 3rd at the Australian Open four years ago.
Matt Jager is a former NZ and Australian Amateur Champion who has played the Asian Tour in the last two years or so but is clearly a much better player than his professional career results to date would suggest.
They both have a long way to go to earn the European Tour card that would mean so much to them both but they have at least made a start in the right direction.
