Three Australians have qualified for Stage Two of the Web.Com Tour’s qualifying following the completion of four Stage One venues this morning.
Daniel Nisbet, Brady Watt and Jamie Arnold have all finished inside the required mark at their respective venues and will now look ahead to the beginning of Stage Two which gets underway at six venues on November 12th.
Queenslander Nisbet made a slow start at his venue in Texas but stormed home over the final 36 holes with rounds of 68 and 65 to finish in 6th position.
West Australian amateur, Watt, timed his run to perfection with a final round of 68 to earn one of the final spots available from his venue, also in Texas. Watt will now return to Perth for this week’s Perth International before playing the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in China where he will start as one of the favourites to win the event and the right to play the Masters in 2014.
Sydney’s Arnold has played PGA Tour of Australasia events and OneAsia Tour events this year without any great success and will keen to secure status on the Web.Com Tour in 2014.
