Aussies make progress at LPGA qualifying

With the leading eighty players plus ties advancing from Stage Two LPGA Tour qualifying there was a fair chance of several of the Australasians in the field earning their way to the Final Stage in and that was the case with six Australasians to test themselves in Daytona Beach in early December.
New Zealand left hander Cathryn Bristow did best when she finished 20th, Emma De Groot and Rebecca Artis were 28th, Stacy Keating 33rd, Kristie Smith 45th and Corie Hou 80th.
New Zealander Sarah Bradley and Queenslander Ellen Davies Graham were the only two from this part of the world to miss out.
The Final Stage offers opportunity to play on either the LPGA or Symetra Tour in 2014.
