Hull-Kirk reverses fortunes in Korea

Queenslander Katherine Hull Kirk and Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist have a share of the 36 hole lead at the LPGA KEB HanaBank Championship in Incheon near Seoul, the pair at 6 under and just one ahead of the two time winner of the event Suzann Pettersen.
Hull-Kirk has had a horror year by her standards, slipping to 93rd in the current world ranking and has not recorded a top ten on the LPGA Tour in 2013.
Nordqvist has not won anywhere in more than four years but has remained consistent enough during that time
There have been signs of improvement in recent weeks a 15th place finish at the Evian Masters perhaps a sign that things were about to get better.
Pettersen shares third position with Pak Ju Young and her fellow Korean Amy Yang who nearly eight years ago won the ANZ Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast as a 16 year old but who has yet to win on the LPGA Tour. For her to do it in her homeland would be a fabulous for now 24 year old.
