LPGA Tour qualifying for the 2014 season this morning completed its third round of five where American Jaye Marie Green extended her lead to seven.

Stacey Keating leads the Australians although she lost ground overnight, her round of 74 slipping her to 28th position.

Kristie Smith continues her recovery from a slow start, the round of 69 today moving her to 46th and within striking distance of status on the LPGA Tour next season. Smith was ill early in the week but after an opening round of 76 she has made good progress.

Rebecca Artis is also in 46th position, Breanna Elliott 58th, Emma De Groot, Stephanie Na and Frances Bondad 65th, Julia Boland 116th and Corie Hou 137th.

New Zealander Cathryn Bristow is 96th.

Korean Inhong Lim, who lived in both New Zealand and Australia before attending college in Ohio is 137th.

With just one round to go before the initial cut players must be inside the top 70 by the completion of tomorrow’s 4th round followed by Sunday’s all important final round where the leading 20 earn full LPGA Tour cards with the those between 21st and 45th gaining lesser status cards for next year’s LPGA Tour.
