Stephen Leaney in a share of 2nd, Steven Jeffres, in a share of 4th and New Zealander Richard Lee, 24th, lead the Australasians through 54 holes of the Japan Tour qualifying but the news is not quite so good for the remainder of the Aussies as the event heads into round tomorrow’s fourth round.

Peter Wilson is 65th, Darren Beck and Adam Bland 77th, Matthew Guyatt 105th, Steve Jones and James McLean 117th, Anthony Summers 152nd, Anthony Brown 162nd, Won Joon Lee 180th and Kurt Carlson 194th.

Only the leading ninety make it through to the final 36 holes after tomorrow’s 72 hole cut.
