Steve Allan leads Aussies in California

BY Bruce Young | Tour | 2013 Web.Com Tour Final Qualifying | Round Two | 14 Dec 2013

The opening 36 holes of Web.Com Your qualifying has been completed in La Quinta in California and of the six Australasians in the field, Steve Allan has done best to date, his second round of 65 at the Jack Nicklaus Tournament at PGA West leaping him into a share of 14th position.

New Zealander Mark Brown is in 61st position, Scott Hend 77th, Mitch Krywulycz 95th, Peter Lonard 18th, and Jake Younan Wise 127th.

72 holes still remain so there is plenty of time to lose or gain ground but essentially the initial goal is to finish inside the top 45 in order to gain access to the 2014 Web.Com Tour.
