BY Bruce Young | 13 Jan 2014

Frenchwoman Joanna Klatten continues to dominate the early season events of the 2014 ALPG schedule, the 28 year old winning the Inghams Antill Park Pro-am near Picton in NSW by one shot on Friday after winning the Yamba Pro Am two days earlier.

Klattens’ round of 67 gave her victory over New South Wales golfers Corie Hou and Sarah Kemp with a further shot back to Stacey Tate from New Zealand and Western Australia’s Whitney Hillier.

The ALPG now travels to Moss Vale in Sydney for 36 hole Moss Vale Classic where Klatten will again be the centre of attention as she tries to make it three victories in succession.

The Tour then heads to Mt Broughton in the Southern Highlands for the two day event there followed by the one day Renault Ladies Pro Am at Castle Hill on Monday.

The bigger events of the season then begin with the staging of the Bing Lee Fujitsu General at the Oatlands Golf Club on the 24th of January following which the ISPS Handa New Zealand Open will be played at Clearwater in Christchurch.

The Volvik RACV Ladies Masters follows ahead of the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Victoria Golf Club.
