Delay at opening Web.Com Tour event

The opening event of the Web.Com Tour season, the Colombia Championship in Bogota, has been disrupted by weather and with some players still to even start their second round play will resume on Saturday morning with quite a time delay to be made up.

Former winner on the PGA Tour, Bill Lunde, has made a fine start to his quest to regain status at the highest level leading over fellow Americans Johnathan Randolph and Justin Thomas although both Thomas and Randolph are still to finish their rounds and will have the chance to potentially take the lead tomorrow.

James Nitties and Rod Pampling are the best of the Australians at this stage the pair tied in 17th position and five shots from the lead.

Gavin Coles is 24th and Alistair Presnell 35th, although many other Australians have either just started their rounds or yet to start so things could change dramatically over the next 24 hours.
