Ten Australians earn Asian Tour cards

BY Bruce Young | 16 Feb 2014

Ten Australians now find themselves with Asian Tour status in 2014 following the completion of the Asian Tour School in Thailand yesterday.

Nick Cullen who agonisingly missed out on a chance to qualify for the Japan Tour in December through illness has finished in a share of third position but will receive the 5th card due to those tying being decided by their final rounds.

Still, for the South Australian he now has many playing options for 2014, now being a member of both the Asian and OneAsia Tours.

Australian PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2013 Dimitrios Papadatos finished tied for 7th, Nathan Holman tied for 13th, Jack Munro, Cameron Smith and Ryan McCarthy tied for 18th, Sam Brazel and Kalem Richardson tied for 27th, with Kunal Bhasin and Craig Hancock 34th.

Marcus Both and Darren Beck missed out by one shot.
