BY Bruce Young | 09 Mar 2014

World number one, Inbee Park, has streeted her rivals at the World Ladies Championship on China’s Hainan Island, her five shot victory over her nearest rival in the Rolex World Ranking, Suzann Pettersen, securing her first win since the US Women’s Open in June.

Not that Park has been struggling in that time, recording numerous top fives as she has had to do to hold off a very much in form Pettersen.

So Yeon Ryu finished 3rd this week, three shots behind Pettersen while the brilliant West Australian teenager Minjee Lee continued her great run of form of late by finishing in a share of 4th position with yet another precocious talent in Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn.

For Jutanugarn it was a welcome glimpse of the exceptional ability she possesses after a lengthy layoff through injury.

Nikki Campbell was 15th while Rebecca Artis and Stephanie Na were 21st.
