BY Bruce Young | 21 Mar 2014

The second round of Final Qualifying for the 2014 China Golf Tour was completed today with a further eight Australians and one New Zealander making it into the leading 20 qualifiers who earn playing status on the 12 event China Tour schedule this season.

New South Welshman Alexander Hawley led the qualifiers when he finished the 72 holes four shots ahead of US based Gold Coaster Ray Beaufils.

Brett Drewitt was tied for 4th, Scott Barr and Stephen Dartnall tied for 6th, Bryden MacPherson and Jamie Arnold shared 8th position and Andrew Kelly was 17th along with New Zealander Nick Gillespie.

They join the seven Australasians through from the opening final qualifier played last week.

Chris Campbell and Michael Choi missed by one shot although they may gain starts via conditional status.
