Despite the fact that she defeated a field that included the leading ten players in the female game, Karrie Webb’s victory at this past week’s JCTB Founders Cup in Phoenix will see her move just one spot to number five in the world female golf ranking.
Adam Scott’s near miss at the Arnold Palmer Invitational allowed him to gain a little ground on Tiger Woods but he still trails the American by just under one point and in second position.
Jason Day remains in 4th position in the men’s rankings.
John Senden in 60th position, Marc Leishman 68th, Brett Rumford 87th and Matthew Jones 88th are the other Australians inside the top 100.
Webb is the only Australian woman inside the top 100 in the Rolex Women’s ranking, although New Zealander Lydia Ko is 4th.
