Ten Aussies at St Andrews Links Trophy

BY Bruce Young | 05 Jun 2014

One of Britain’s most significant amateur events, the St Andrews Trophy, begins on Friday at St Andrews in Scotland.

The 72 hole event with 36 holes played on the final day, has attracted ten Australasians each of them looking to emulate the last Australian top win this title, Stuart Bouvier in 1990.

Australasians in this year’s field are NSW’s Dale Brandt Richards, Mitchell Venables and Cameron Davis, Victorians Ben Eccles, Todd Sinott and Andrew Schoneville and DJ Loypur, South Australian Anthony Murdaca and the New Zealanders Joshua Munn and Tae Koh.
