Murdaca heads Australians at St Andrews

South Australia’s Antonio Murdaca has finished in a share of 9th position at the St Andrews Links Trophy, the Australian representative finishing three shots behind the playoff between Scots, Bradley Neil and Grant Forrest.

Forrest would win the playoff.

Geoff Drakeford was 15th and New Zealander and Australian Amateur Champion Tae Koh in 20th position.

The next big event amongst the British summer of amateur tournaments is the historic British Amateur Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Portrush in Northern Ireland beginning on June 14th.
