Australasians do well at Sahalee Players

BY Bruce Young | 03 Jul 2014

Australasian amateurs have performed well at the Sahalee Players Championship in Washington State.

Aucklander, James Beale, finished 4th, his fellow New Zealander and Australian Amateur Champion, Tae Koh, was 5th and New South Wales Cameron Davis was 9th in the 72 hole event at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish.

Queensland’s Cory Crawford and New Zealander Keelan Kilpatrick also finished inside the top 20 when they tied for 19th.

Koh was particularly impressive given his very slow start to the tournament when he opened with a round of 78.
