For the LPGA Tour normal service has been resumed with Korean golfers finishing one, two and three in this week’s Canadian Pacific Women’s Open at the London Golf Club in Ontario.

24 year old So Yeon Ryu won her third LPGA Tour title with a two shot win over Na Yeon Choi with a gap of three shots back to Inbee Park.

In a season when the Koreans have not been quite the dominant force they have been in more recent years, they made a statement this week, Ryu, a former US Women’s Open winner leading from her opening round of 63 and holding on despite a brilliant late challenge from Choi.

Karrie Webb finished as the leading Australian in a share of 13th, one of her better efforts in recent weeks.

The LPGA Tour play the Portland Classic in Oregon this coming week.
