Hiroyuki Fujita today won a playoff at the RZ Everlasting KBC Augusta tournament in Fukuoka to win his 17th Japan Golf Tour title.

The 45 year old Fujita came from six shots off the 54 hole pace to pass sixteen players and defeat China’s Wen-Chong LIANG.

There was just one shot back to a group of four players who tied for 3rd.

Adam Bland led the Australasians when he tied for 7th while New Zealander Michael Hendry was 11th.

Bland now moves to 30th on the 2014 money list while Hendry leads the Australasians in 20th position.

Kurt Barnes and Steve Conran tied for 48th.

The Japan Golf Tour now plays the Fujisankei Classic.
