AccuFLEX Golf announced that its ASSASSIN and ICON shafts were used in the drivers of David Gureckis and Michael McDonald, each of who beat John Daly to earn over US$80,000 apiece recently at the inaugural "Pinnacle Distance Challenge", which was held at the ReMax World Long Drive Championship.

Gureckis and McDonald each earned their shot at Daly by beating members of the Pinnacle Distance Team at earlier, regional events in the US. David and Michael have both risen from the ranks of Long Drive obscurity to become major players in the Long Drive professional ranks.

Gureckis used the AccuFLEX ASSASSIN, which is a 57", XXXX shaft, cut down to 49". McDonald used the AccuFLEX ICON shaft, which was previously featured in the bag of the PGA Tour's 2002 Advil Western Open champion. The ICON has also earned victories and over a dozen "top tens" on the PGA's Buy.com Tour. Both the ASSASSIN and ICON shafts are made with AccuFLEX's exclusive A2 advanced design composite.
