West Australian Steve Dartnall capped off a sensational week of golf today by taking out the 111th international Riversdale Cup. Dartnall backed up his overnight lead with another sub par round to take out the top amateur title by two shots with a card of 69,65,69 and 69.

He beat fellow West Australian Rick Kulacz, who tied for second spot with top New Zealander amateur Josh Geary (67). Earlier in the week Dartnall set his winning streak in motion by capturing the Australian Foursome Championship with Kulacz. The two then combined to also capture the International Teams Championship of the Riversdale Cup. The former world junior champion Kulacz also carded the lowest round of the day with a six under the card 66.

It is the second year in a row that a winner of the Australian Foursome championship has taken out the Riversdale Cup. New South Welshman Tristan Lambert took out fourth position in the Cup with 11 under the card finishing his final round with 73. Top English golfers Robert Steele and Ben Parker tied in T5 and T7 position respectively finishing with final rounds of 68 and 70.
