Badds, Coles and Alker stay in touch with the lead

Jay Delsing, a 16 year veteran of the PGA Tour, eagled the final hole to a clinch the lead with a championship record -9 (63) in the second round of the USD$600,000 Buy.com Tour Championship. Delsing has a one stroke lead over Mike Heinen, Eric Meeks and Jeff Klauk while overnight leader Todd Barranger carded a 1 (73) to finish two strokes adrift of Delsing.
The Tour championship is the last event on the Buy.com Tour calender for 2002 and only the top 15 on the moneylist will move up to the PGA Tour for 2003. Australasians Gavin Coles, Steve Alker and Aaron Baddeley will all be playing on the PGA Tour in 2003 with Coles finishing in 7th place at -5 and Alker and Baddeley at -4 and equal 9th with two rounds to play.
