Overnight leaders Jason Day (pictured - Hills), Michael Foster (Hartfield) and Richie Gallichan (Toukley) have all fired rounds of 70 (-2) today to keep a share of the lead in the 2006 Optus Business Direct Keperra Bowl. All players fired rounds of 66 (-6) yesterday and lead the Championship at eight under par (-8).

Of the leaders, Gallichan had the most interesting round with five birdies on the front nine including four in a row from the 2nd hole. His back nine of 37 ( 1) was not so impressive but was enough to retain a share of the lead.

Making a charge at the leaders is 15-year-old rising star, Eagle Chang (Oxley) who shot the day's equal lowest round of 67 (-5) and moved into fourth position at seven under (-7) and only one shot from the leaders.

67's (-5) were also returned by Tristan Lambert (Liverpool) and Andrew Kelly (Wangaratta) with Lambert in contention at five under (-5) and Kelly three shots further back.

A total of 95 players survived the 36 hole cut of 149 ( 5) and will battle it out over the next two days with the last round on Friday finishing at approimately 2:00pm.
