Two more Australians have been added to the list of Australsians who are now guaranteed a start at the British Open, which begins at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club on July 20th.
Today Richard Green and Brett Rumford made it through Final International Qualifying for the European Tour which was held overnight at Sunningdale's Old and New courses. For Green it follows his success in final qualifying for the US Open three weeks ago.
The Final International Qualifying in the US is under threat at present due to the inclement weather in the Washington area. If the event cannot be completed then the twelve places available will go to the leading twelve world ranked players entered for final qualifying at the Congressional Golf Club.
