Senior sets early pace at Queensland Open

Queensland veteran Peter Senior is setting the early pace on day one of the Queensland Open Championship at Ipswich Golf Club. Going down the 13th fairway, Senior was at three under par, two ahead of his playing partner Andre Stolz who is fresh off winning the Victorian Open last week.
With the first players just starting to finish their opening rounds, scores have been kept tight. At the half way mark Martin Peterson of NSW was at three under, one ahead of Ben Burge, also from NSW. The second half of the field is preparing to hit off in temperatures close to 33 degrees.
