With round two of final qualifying for next year’s European Ladies Tour now complete, the lead is held by Frenchwoman Gwladys Nocera and Eleanor Pilgrim of Wales.

Australian Vicky Uwland, who just two weeks ago was a member of the victorious Australian Esperito Santo team in Malaysia, has started well and finds herself in third place, tied with countrywoman Tamara Hyett.

New Zealand’s Pam Sowden is 15th, Rachel Duncan 21st, 44 year old New Zealander Brenda Ormsby, Kylie Wilson (NZ), and Rebecca Stevenson are 26th, Helen Beatty and Natalie Parkinson are 67th and Renee Fowler (NZ) 87th.

The cut was made at eight over, leaving Sarah Douglas and Melissa Brandson stranded.

A further cut will be made after fifty four holes with the top fifty advancing to round four following which thirty players will receive fully exempt cards for the year 2003 and those remaining, a conditional card.
