Bunny also hopped into the picture with a scintillating four-under 66, which included just 30 hits on the back nine.
Bunny is having a stellar year, he qualified for the British Open earlier this year and contended in a couple of the earlier Von Nida Tour events in Queensland, with his best finish a tie for ninth at the Queensland PGA.
He is 47th on the Von Nida Tour Order of Merit and will be keen to improve his standing by finishing in the top 30 to retain his exempt status for next year.
Victorian Cameron Percy, desperate for a win to steal the Von Nida Order of Merit from under the nose of Mark Leishman, could only manage an even-par round of 70 and trails leader Brown by five shots.
He’s on 206 and will need a gargantuan effort to haul in the leaders tomorrow.
