Moneylist title up for grabs at ADT

It might be a small and very select field that lines up in the final round of the ADT Tour Championship at the Trump International golf Club in West Palm Beach in Florida tomorrow but for those who have made it through by surviving two cuts, much is at stake.
Eight players will wipe the slate clean and start again in tomorrow’s final round with a first prize of US$1 million up for grabs and with it the potential for either Lorena Ochoa or Karrie Webb to take the money list title. Only Ochoa and Webb can secure the ADT money list title as the only others who might have been capable, Annika Sorenstam and Cristie Kerr, were eliminated in earlier rounds.
Ochoa just snuck into the third round after a playoff for one of the 16 places available for day three and then produced a third round of 67 to still be around. After her opening 75 on Thursday she has done well in her attempt to retain her number one position on the money list.
For the record Il Mi Chung led the field at the completion of 54 holes, her brilliant round of 65 having her on top of what was a high quality line up. All of that counts for little tomorrow other than the confidence she will derive from such a round in such elite company but tomorrow she must start again.
The final day promises much in terms of the money title race but the jury is still out on the format and the imbalance of prizemoney for the winner against that earned by those finishing behind her.
